About Me

16727_4242630662458_458564847_nHi there, I’m Nick. I’m a 24 year old marketing graduate from Kansas.  I can be summed up fairly easily: I’m a workaholic car guy.

I’ve remained employed at the same company since the age of 14. It’s not auto related, but it’s another passion for me: telecom.  At the age of 14 I began as a plant intern putting together cable TV gear – today I serve as marketing and customer experience manager.  And lately I’ve taken on a business development role.  I’ve been very fortunate for the opportunity, and realize it is rare. Then, in 2008, I became the Editor of GMInsideNews.com, a site that went from being a simple enthusiast forum to becoming a melting pot of constituents of one of the world’s largest automakers. Today it is a site that’s honored with respected mentions in publications from USA Today on down and draws a global audience of around 550,000 every month.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling, a good business novel (dorky, I know), and just chilling with friends.  I am also involved in our community’s economic development initiatives and serve on the board of directors of our Public Library and STEM advisory panel at a local high school.

I graduated from Pittsburg State University in May 2012 with a business degree and marketing major.  I’m happily employed outside of the automotive industry, but will entertain the right opportunity to fulfill my dream of making a difference in the automotive industry.

Passion drives success, success drives quantitative results.
